MTD Global Webinar and Open Session
With special guest Bishop Hwa Yung, author of the book Leadership or Servanthood? Walking in the Steps of Jesus.

Online Live Stream

You’re invited to our Masters of Transformational Development (MTD) Online Open Session with special guest Bishop Hwa Yung, author of the book Leadership or Servanthood? Walking in the Steps of Jesus.
This biblical exploration offers a powerful challenge to leadership models driven by power and hierarchy, calling instead for a return to Christ’s example of humble, servant-hearted leadership. Join us for a powerful conversation exploring how transformational change may occur through deep listening, empowerment, and walking alongside communities.
Drawing upon Scripture, history, and global insights, Yung’s work is a vital resource for development practitioners and church leaders, interested in justice, humility, and self-sacrificial love.
“This is a challenge facing the whole global church today, but especially the younger churches in Africa, Asia, Latin America, and the MENA (Middle East and North Africa) region. The shift of the center of gravity of the global church into the Majority World confers a greater degree of responsibility upon these churches. And only if those of us in these churches adequately address the challenges of discipleship, and recover the spirit of true servanthood, can our churches fully mature into what God intends them to be. Only then will we be able to embrace fully our God-given responsibilities for this generation.” Bishop Hwa Yung.
