MEET Yvonne
Yvonne was born in Box Hill and has lived most of her life in Melbourne’s Eastern suburbs. However 10 years ago she started a new season living and working in Nepal, Pakistan and Turkey.
She completed her Bachelor of Education at Rusden State College and followed this up with nearly 30 years of teaching in government schools in Victoria. She completed a Graduate Diploma in Arts (Mission) in 2013 at Tabor before heading overseas to work in a variety of International Christian schools with Interserve.
Yvonne has a special passion for middle school hands on science education along with geography and the environmental and biological sciences. During her work overseas she has been privileged to be involved in the pastoral care and mentoring of TCK and MK students in their academic, personal and faith lives.
