This highly flexible program allows you to gain knowledge and develop skills in your choice of discipline including education studies, counselling, youth studies, biblical and theological studies.
The Graduate Diploma in Arts award is composed of 8 subjects of 6 credit points each (or 7 subjects of 6 credit points and 1 subject of 12 credit points) completed over 1 year full-time equivalent (48 credit points in total).
Students undertaking this award are required to complete:
Students must complete at 24 credit points in one of the following Specialisations:
Students must complete at 12 credit points of electives.
Students may not import more than 24 credit points from other institutions.
Applicants must meet the English language requirements.
This course is not open to overseas students to study in Australia.

Exit Pathways
Students who have completed appropriate units may exit with a Graduate Certificate in Arts.

There are no formal articulation agreements for this award.
Pathways to Future Learning
Students who successfully complete the Graduate Diploma specialising in Christian Foundations may continue to the Master of Practical Theology.
Students who need to demonstrate the ability to study at the appropriate level may continue to Master of Community Counselling.
