MEET Julie
Dr Julie Morsillo is an endorsed Community and Counselling Psychologist, member of Australian Psychological Society (APS) and been a researcher with APS. Julie co-ordinates and lecturers in the counselling degree program and the Master of Community Counselling program at Eastern. She used to lecture in community development at Victoria University. She has worked in private practice, and has been the counselling co-ordinator at the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre, worked for Victorian Equal Opportunity Commission, and Premier and Cabinet, and been a cottage parent and foster parent. She has had leadership roles in churches for many decades, loves playing piano, gardening and bush walking with her husband, sons and grand-daughter. She writes children’s book and has begun writing a text book: ‘Finding hope in our redemptive stories’.
